Sweat, Deodorant and Makeup Stain Removal

What causes it
Sweat proteins react with deodorant aluminium salts, and foundation and lipstick add oil and pigment. Repeated heat drying bakes the residue into a stiff yellow patch around collars and underarms.
How to remove it
- 1Loosen residue with a soft brush and white vinegar.
- 2Make a baking soda paste and leave it for 30 minutes.
- 3Pre-treat makeup marks with micellar water or dish soap.
- 4Wash with an enzyme detergent on the warmest safe cycle.
- 5Air dry — heat locks in any remaining yellow.
